http://www.mkronline.com/

I completely redid the splash page for my site. Before it was just a big box with a few links.

I'm working on some things that will be added to the Internal Links panel such as a message board and a resource archive for people that work in CGI(computer graphics, not the server interface).

So what exactly changed? Now it's three boxes packed together instead of one?

Exactly. I know it's not much at the moment, but there are going to be more things linked. =P

Uhh...

So you went from updating your site, to (3 days later).... taking it offline?

That makes sense.

Right. I can create the cleanest, most standards compliant interface there is, but without content I'm just wasting my time. I have nothing to put there, so I might as well just close it.

And I never said you said anything about it; where'd that come from?

I said I could make the website, but I would be wasting time doing it if I can't think of anything to put there.

It's hard to convey emotion via text (unless you're a really good writer) and I think linuxinit though MKR was being sarcastic (which he wasn't).

Now shake hands. ;-)

Misunderstandings happen. =P

I usualy try to be clear when I'm saying something with text, but sometimes I fail at that.

I think what we need are more emoticons.

LOL, don't get me started. :) We used to have like oh, I don't know... 300? But I removed most of them when I discovered only about 15-20 were ever used.

Hurgleburgleblah.

http://www.mkronline.com/

I decided against going through the unpleasantness of making it conform to XHTML1.1 (even though I have it in the headers). If it loads in PIE (Pocket Internet Explorer) and Firefox, it's good enough for me. :D

That certainly takes clean and simple to the extreme. :) I doubt you'd have problems reading those pages on just about any modern web browser app on any mobile platform.
